Ok, I fell for it again, the You've got mail thing. I got the last person I pm'd with's post for something like the ninth time.

This sound like a movie scenario.

OK, I give up, I've a New Yorker to read so I'll go to it. I've just gotten something like a dozen emails from bobsal, whom I like well enough, but not to see twelve times re one thing. Something is futze, on a2k or my computer.

Contact AOL and complain. Tell them that their notifications are duplicating, and you are getting repeats of old notifications.

And then stop using AOL for your appointment reminders, and start using a Google calendar.

Hah, all is well this morning. Hamsters must have been fed during the night.
No black or blue screen of death.
No failure of Safari.
I guess I got all agita over nothing much. I get scared when my mac acts up, and getting scared doesn't help.
