I rarely ever watch the MTV Video Music Awards and barely watched a few of their movie awards shows but it's pretty clear that MTV encourages and probably just stages "controversial" events”.

Oh ****. Nicki Minaj said some **** to Miley last night. And so MTV and both celebrities involved all just got publicity. Kanye didn’t interrupt anyone last night by being a rude jerk so I guess that’s getting old now.
