Happy Birthday Dear Snoopy! This strip published on August 28, 1951 is the FIRST time that Snoopy’s birthday is celebrated in Peanuts with birthday cake and all! There were other celebrations in later strips for this extraordinary pup but we’d like to officially honor him today. And, of course, if you were to ask Snoopy, EVERY day would be his birthday!
