I forgot about the Art Garfunkel version. it's terrific.....the one I remember is the Flamingos....but, wow, Garfunkel really shined.
I restarted reading the thread at 'The Band and Up On Cripple Creek'....my younger Vizsla 'Ruby' rolled over from a deep sleep, licked my leg and then wagged her tail thru the entire number. I'm thinking that music has tamed the goofy beast.
