@edgarblythe,
I remember a young Army private talking about the joys of Zappa in 1976, I don't think I can even name a Frank Zappa song. But, that asshole Ted Nugent is a creepy pervert.

Nugent the man is a cesspool of perversions. I have never listened to any recordings of his.

This one has always given me the creeps...

Young Girl
Song by Gary Puckett & The Union Gap

Young girl, get out of my mind
My love for you is way out of line
Better run, girl
You're much too young, girl
With all the charms of a woman

You've kept the secret of your youth
You led me to believe
You're old enough to give me Love
And now it hurts to know the truth, oh

Young girl, get out of my mind
My love for you is way out of line
Better run, girl
You're much too young, girl

Beneath your perfume and make-up
You're just a baby in disguise
And though you know
That it is wrong to be alone with me
That come on look is in your eyes, oh

Young girl, get out of my mind
My love for you is way out of line
Better run, girl
You're much too young, girl

So hurry home to your mama
I'm sure she wonders where you are
Get out of here before I have the time
To change my mind
'Cause I'm afraid we'll go too far, oh

Young girl, get out of my mind
My love for you is way out of line
Better run, girl
You're much too young, girl

Young girl, get out of my mind
My love for you is way out of line
Better run, girl
You're much too young, girl

Young girl, get out of my mind

"Brown Sugar"

Gold coast slave ship bound for cotton fields
Sold in a market down in New Orleans
Scarred old slaver knows he's doing alright
Hear him whip the women just around midnight

Brown sugar how come you taste so good?
Brown sugar just like a young girl should

Drums beating, cold English blood runs hot
Lady of the house wonderin' where it's gonna stop
House boy knows that he's doing alright
You shoulda heard him just around midnight

Brown sugar how come you taste so good, now?
Brown sugar just like a young girl should, now

Ah, get along, brown sugar how come you taste so good, baby?
Ah, got me feelin' now, brown sugar just like a black girl should

I bet your mama was a tent show queen
And all her boyfriends were sweet sixteen
I'm no schoolboy but I know what I like
You shoulda heard me just around midnight

Brown sugar how come you taste so good, baby?
Ah, brown sugar just like a young girl should, yeah

I said yeah, yeah, yeah, woo
How come you... how come you taste so good?
Yeah, yeah, yeah, woo
Just like a... just like a black girl should
Yeah, yeah, yeah, woo

@glitterbag,
I was a dedicated music person until the start of the eighties. I started school again, thus a set of several years of almost no sleep. I not only missed hits, but thought the ones I heard were dumb. The god damned eagles. I couldn't stand them.

I was right and wrong, so it goes.

Since I didn't pay attention, I can't add much to noticing creep stuff in those years.

Steve Lawrence did

Go away little girl
I'm not supposed to be alone with you

When you are near me like this
You're much too hard to resist

@edgarblythe,
This is a very illuminating and useful thread.
I'm amazed how much I didn't yell about.

Cool

Na na na, come on
Na na na, come on
Na na na, na na come on
Na na na, come on, come on
Come on, na na-na na come on
Na na na, come on
Na na na, na na, come on
Na na na, come on, come on
Come on, na na na na
Feels so good being bad
There's no way I'm turning back
Now the pain is for pleasure
'Cause nothing can measure
Love is great, love is fine
Out the box, out of line
The affliction of the feeling leaves me wanting more
'Cause I may be bad but I'm perfectly good at it
Sex in the air, I don't care, I love the smell of it
Sticks and stones may break my bones,
But chains and whips excite me
'Cause I may be bad but I'm perfectly good at it
Sex in the air, I don't care, I love the smell of it
Sticks and stones may break my bones,
But chains and whips excite me

@jcboy,

I ache for the touch of your lips, dear
but much more for the touch of your whips, dear.
You can raise welts,
like nobody else.
As we dance to the masochism tango.

"

I know something about opening windows and doors
I know how to move quietly to creep across creaky wooden floors
I know where to find precious things in all your cupboards and drawers
Slipping the clippers
Slipping the clippers through the telephone wires
The sense of isolation inspires
Inspires me
I like to feel the suspense when I'm certain you know I am there
I like you lying awake, your bated breath charging the air
I like the touch and the smell of all the pretty dresses you wear
Intruders happy in the dark
Intruder come
Intruder come and leave his mark, leave his mark

Please tell Chai I say "thanks".

Max says thanks.

I think the ignore function does more harm than good, personally.

Here's another one. Ringo Starrs "you're 16, you're beautiful and you're mine"

You’re all ribbons and curls, ooh, what a girl,
 Eyes that sparkle and shine.
You’re sixteen, you’re beautiful and you’re mine.

Pretty sick, huh.

It might depend on the age of the other person in the song. If the song is supposed to represent two 16 year olds, it should be OK. A 16 year old and an 84 year old, not so much.
