What do I need to carry to get a bottle of water and a package of Twizzlers into the baseball game.

Seriously. It's ridiculous.

There was a fatal shooting at a nightclub here the other night. Everyone's wondering how the guns got in when that club (among others) is in/famous for checking everyone's bags so carefully for bottles of water

Seriously. I had a bandolier canteen and I would carry goodies in the lining of my jacket to football games. I seriously pack to the point of filling my removed jacket sleeves at movies.
