Does anyone know what the piece of piano music is that is played at 35 min 50 sec in Ermanno Olmi's film The Tree of the Wooden Clogs? It is the second piece of music played by the boy at the recital in the house of the Landlord, and is the background music as we see the contrasting scene of the peasants' environment as the snow begins to fall. The music is haunting and beautiful. I am hoping someone recognizes it.
@darlini,
I refer you to the Int'l Movie Database (IMDB.com) link here that lists the entire soundtrack of that movie:

@darlini,
I remember the movie; I probably saw it in 1978, so my recall is fairly poor except that I liked it, but there was some horrifying scene (about what? dunno).
I've not used this website, but it might be a help for you to pin down the exact music -

As with Ragman's linked list, if nothing else, maybe using the titles of the sound tract you could check youtube for renditions of all these pieces.

@ossobuco,
Sorry, that mp3 link was a dumb idea, only one of those was from the movie. Better to look up Ragman's listed tracks on you tube.
@darlini,
hello, did you ever find the name of this song? I watched the film last night and was riveted by it.
I will ignore that last bit from another poster, a bit ago.
I remember it as a strong and worthwhile movie. I need to watch it again.
