well we loved them as kids - - the show so when it was announced they were going to be in concert, we had to go. We were the only adults without children there. Now granted we were young adults in our 20s but adults nevertheless.

We even had a mom saying to us are you old enough to have that beer? We looked at her and told her to go to h*lll - no we didn't because she had a young child with her didn't want to be mean in front of the kid.

If I recall it correctly, the Archies were started the same way as the monkeys, for a cartoon TV show. Incidentally the artist most associated with the Archies died this week.
