Systeminit .. sticks like a flea

G'day,

I'm using WinPatrol and it keeps telling me I have a bug called Systeminit.exe. I found the little devil in the system32 file (I think it was) and deleted it, but I good ol' scottie of WinPatrol keeps telling me the bug is still there. I DO notice my system has slowed down enormously but I can't find anything obviousl. Adaware and Spybot don't help. I've used CWShredder but it seems to keep re-instating 5 sear-related pages that I don't want. Help! anyone with any other ideas puh-leeze??
