@vampkatlex,
no... but there are no poisonous frogs in Canada. We have two kinds of tree frogs in my home town, one of which is a grey tree frog, the other is a small clear-skinned frog the size of a finger nail.
We also have three varieties of regular frogs. miniature bull frogs, swamp frogs(pointier nose, and good camou) and a foresty creek frog(extra pointy nose, and a more lavishly green skin than the swamp frog).
We then in addition have toads - which to my understanding are called the same things as frogs in Spanish... but I am sure toads do not have their young in the water.
we have painting turtles and small snapping turtles. they both eat frogs. The painters only grow to fit their containment so you can keep them. The snappers are ugly... and I have never caught one or see one in the wild. but my mom brought one home once that she caught as it was running across the highway, because they Run. They stand like 4 inches off the ground with long legs. super creepy. had friends on the other side of the lake I live on who had baby snappers in an aquarium.
and gardener snakes. which are also not poisonous at all.
so no. no direct list.
we also have horseflies, blackflies, deerflies, noseeums, mosquitos, spruce bugs, and these damned little hornet looking bugs... pretty much every bug bites and it hurts... but nothing poisonous. we have a few more biters.
... if anything is poisonous... it is also not any of our spiders. We have dock spiders, mini blacks, yellow ones, white ones, furry ones, leaping ones, long front legged ones, wolf-spider looking ones, and probably two, three or four more varieties ... but none are lethal at all. they all have cool and different styles of webs.
unless you get lyme disease from a tick. ps. tick season is over already. ended about 3 weeks ago.
and salamanders... which I understand to eat grub and worms.. gardener snakes eat the grub and worms too, toads, insects, mice babies, frogs and sadly even the salamanders... Caught a salamander this year. b'chance. wasn't looking for it.
I also get bear, deer, rabbits, wolves, foxes, weasels, chipmunks but no squirrels, moose, parchridge, bald eagles, hawks, loons, owls, crows, humming birds, blue jays, whisky jacks, and other animals in my yard annually.
never mind our moth selection! and BATS! lots of bats.
we have about 5 varieties of ants, and none are poisonous. black, red, fire, black and red, big ones, and big headed ones. at least 6 varieties.
the termites aren't poisonous either.
then we have the other things like beetles. golden big ones, june bugs, spruce bugs^^, black beetles, water beetles, Big water beetles (Hercules beetles), ... and there must be other beetles in my home town... but not that I can think of. The black and the Gold beetles STINK.
our insect variety is not worth going over... so I will. green and squishy. invader spieces (green, orange legs.), triangle shelled. (they are all friendly and will attack you with love **), lady bugs, weird ones, strange ones, peculiar ones... the list really goes on. Spend 10 minutes in my back yard you'll find like several varieties coming to molest you.
... anyways..
