Dunno what a MOS is - but I hope you find a very nice one amongst the MOSes - it sounds important.
MOS refers to one's job specialty ... clerk, fireman, medic, etc. MOS is the Army expression ... in the Air Force, we used AFSC, Air Force Specialty Code. Mine was Bungler, Third-Rate.
I thought it must mean something of that ilk!
I cannot believe you were only a third-rate bungler, Deb!
Debacle: Family Matters is the Mistry book I just borrowed, and Dlowan, the Pears book I'm reading is The Instance of the Fingerpost, which I can't put down. I also had The Dream of Scipio, his new one, but like Debacle couldn't finish it because I have too many books to choose from right now. Iaian Pears will be one of the authors I read everything I can find, so I'll get it back one of these days.
Dlowan, our library had a good selection of the T. H. White books, all in hardback.
In this book an idea of mine (yes mine, not his! ok it's an old idea but I didn't get it from white!) is discussed. I have created a discussion about this
here.
I had completely forgotten that bit... still have..
@Craven de Kere,
This discussion should have gone way further but never did.
FIE!!!!
