"Video Killed the Radio Star" - back vocal?

Hey, A.SH. Welcome to A2K. Not certain what you mean. Are you looking for the lyrics to The Buggles song, or was that just a clever title to this thread?

No-no, I can find the lyrics. I'm talking about the singers.

The Buggles themselves were Trevor Horn, Geoffrey Downes, right? Two males. But "Video Killed the Radio Star" also featured a female voice.

I wonder who she is. The problem is, I'm not sure if the lady that sings "Video killed the radio star" in the chorus is also the one that goes "You are a radio star" (back vocal) closer to the end. So, maybe, there were actually two females?

The site I told about said that it was Debi Doss' vocal in the song. But it didn't say whether it was a back vocal or the voice in the chorus.

Edit (after ~20 mins, he): It was Google, 'video killed the radio star backing singer -presidents'... The first result! So embarrasing, oh! And DD has it too, result #4... *sigh*
