grafting

RHS say that
Any two Varieties of Fruit in the Prunus Genus .such as
,Cherry,Plums,Peach ,Nectarine, Plum cot,Apricot ,
do well when Grafted together
nearly all Citrus Varieties are Compatible with other for Grafting,
so why not the Rosacae,Can be Grafted Together,
or have they ever found a Different Variety of Rosacae,which will Graft with a Rose
