@neologist,

Is that the same as the Athanasian Creed?

To my knowledge, it is what all the Churches teach.

Years ago I used to be big.

Now I just look like I used to be big.

@Patches,
It was part of pagan religions too.
But you really don't know enough about it, right?

Atheists often kid themselves into supposing they are using "rational thinking" and "scientific skepticism" to arrive at...

..."There are no gods."

If they would open their eyes and minds, they would see that there is no more rational thinking and scientific skepticism used to arrive there...

...than is used by theists to arrive at, "There is a GOD."

True rational thinking and scientific skepticism use on this issue can only lead to, "We do not know if gods exist or not...and the evidence for and against is so ambiguous, it cannot be used to make a meaningful guess in either direction."

Just sayin'!

Oh, that part up above WAS yelling.

Laughing I hope we're better at bodybuilding than A2K'ing.

Yeah, finding Frank and Robby in that condition at that age is damn motivating, innit? But...I'm learning the hard way that I can't train like I'm 20 anymore. Partially torn distal bicep tendon last year from going too hard on the preacher (!) curls knocked me out of training for almost a year. Now I'm learning that I'd better take it easy on these shoulders and knees, too. http://i206.photobucket.com/albums/bb192/DinahFyre/oldmancane_1.gif

Eeks!
I'm afraid I now look like a beached whale.

Sad

Arms still in good shape, though

@FBM,
I don't think I have a distal bicep to tear... I build to an ideal more along the lines of Zach Galifianakis

Diet discipline is by far the most difficult aspect of training for me. I ate about 80% of a fried chicken last night. Embarrassed

Heh heh. I saw myself going in that direction and didn't like it. If I can protect myself from me, I might be able to avoid that yet.

All right! That one is much better!

(I, wmwcjr, retire for the evening. Besides, I have a workout session at 10:00 in the morning.)
