DNS error - can't access google

Reply Sat 26 Jun, 2004 03:14 am
I can no longer access google and some other main search engines such as altavista.com. I get the error message "There is no website configured at this address.

You are seeing this page because there is nothing configured for the site you have requested. If you think you are seeing this page in error, please contact the site administrator or datacenter responsible for this site."

I searched through the previous threads so as not to waste anyones time by them answering again and i found this one)
I did what was said (replacing the text in the hosts file with the text that was listed) and it didn't solve the problem. Does anyone have any further ideas?
Thanks.
