My sweetiepie tells me almost every day that someone here has mentioned me. This of course can be flattering, and it can also make me appear mean-spirited because i have not been around.
Think of it this way: this place is like a coffee shop that i don't like, at which i have met many people i do like. No assumption should be made that i don't like the people here, or that i have no regard for the courtesies they have shown me, and the kind remarks they have made . . . so, just give me a coffee and a glass of water, and leave me the hell alone . . .

And, darlin', if'n you like the folk, can't you ignore the decor sometimes?
I 'spose so . . . but all those Nazis guarding the esspresso machine make my skin crawl . . .

I'll have to remember not to pant so much, or wag my tail, else the sunglasses will be in vain . . .
Or just not look at the espresso machine?
