Okay, nail files aren't really central to your life, but the little annoyances add up.
I used the Revlon product for decades, and they used to last six months or longer. No more. After a month or two, there's maybe a gritty portion left at the very tip. The rest might be good for polishing, and the last time I bought one, Walgreens charged $5.50 AMERICAN! Walgreen's being a little out of the way, I tried Smith's, which seems to be owned by Kroeger. I had to ask for help finding the little devils, but they had some under the Kroeger brand. Magnificent, and priced at pennies under a dollar. Still going strong after the Revlon product was getting kind of sketchy.
Thought I would pass that along.

Just on a side note, I laughed when I read your thread, go you...
I googled that S African crowd and they sell somethings in Oz...semi trailers . I fancy myself on being a fairly imaginative guy, but filing my nails with a semi trailer...not even the prime mover...I got nuttin . I guess I am going to have to convert to American .
Can you put me up ? I eat most things (unless you lock them up eg shoes), have been known to bite people, dont do drugs, occassionally grab a very large knife in the middle of the night and run through the house screaming, snore, scratch my fleas and lice till I bleed and prefer to bath during solar eclipses . Oh, and I need to borrow the air fare . Can ya pal ?

I use my thumbnails as screwdrivers so I know from strong nails but really
wearing out nail files. Maybe Roger needs to start using a dremel like I do for the dogs
