Song Identification -- African Animals on the Savannah?

Looking for some help here on a song, with not much to go on...

The video for this song shows humans painted like African animals on the savannah. They begin about their daily routine, and as the seasons progress, and water runs short and the watering holes drry up, they become weak and near death. Then the rejuvenating rains come, and the animals regain their strength, and the life cycle begins anew.

I saw the video in about April 1998.

I'm also under the impression that the song was used in a commercial for ATT Wireless or some similar cell phone company at some point.
