I had the pleasure of seeing the B-52's at the Mountain Winery, in Saratoga, CA, on Saturday night. They were awesome! They opened with Private Idaho and played for almost two hours, finishing up with Rock Lobster. They were at least as good as they were when I saw them 23 years ago, a bit older and chubbier of course, but they still have tons of energy. Older and chubbier with one exception - Keith Strickland, the guitarist, still looks like he's 25.
He must know Dick Clark's plastic surgeon.
What was their set list, cjhsa?
I'm sorry, I didn't take notes. It was dark and I was a bit buzzed. If I can find it posted anywhere I'll repost it here. All I can say is that I knew every song they did.
