Happy Birthday, Drom! I have enjoyed all the times that we've played together!

So, how old are you? He he he, I know, it's not polite to ask a lady about her age. Smile

Thanks, Eva and everyone else. I'm so very thankful of your wishes, and your company throughout my time here.

As for my age, KC.. well, I'm over twenty and under thirty-one Very Happy.

Thanks, Joe. It's being a really depressing weekend, not because of the triviality of age, but because of lots of being ignored and even one complete betrayal... but I'm glad that I'm here....

Kicky and I are headed for the airport this minute. Tell your betrayers they have till the morrow to put their affairs in order.

Now, you chose: Quick and anonymous or slow, with a lot of reminders of who sent us??

Slow, with lots of reminders; they can't get me when I flee to Armenia... and you all can come too, and enjoy diplomatic immunity, and weird types of wine.

(Thanks for cheering me up a bit Very Happy)

Drom--

I can't do the strong-arm stuff on crutches, but I do have a certain talent for long distance hexing....say the word.

Noddy; since I came here, I've thought that you're a star in more ways than hexing... though that's a very useful skill, and it would be just deserts: character is fate Very Happy.

But I'll just try to ignore the 'friend.' It's better to be the less deceived, I guess. At least I know who true friends are.

That's true, and now we have to arrange to get you set up with some hot boytoy for an evening or two of blatant self-absorbed indulgence.

Shall I prepare a menu of delights?

It should involve weird wines.

Ooh, I'll take the weird wines (as long as they're not too strong,) and the cake (as long as everyone has a sliver too,) you two, but I'll have to graciously decline any boytoys, toyboys, or motorscooters; as you know from my comments on a certain very active post, I would, indeed, enjoy mental stimulation, but I doubt that they'd be able to provide it!

What would the rest of this Menu be?

I believe the birthday girl has her choice of wishes.

Now:

(do not cry,
&nbsp &nbsp&nbsp &nbsp &nbsp or cry, it's your birthday after all)

look deeply into the flame of a candle for one minute

say your name three times aloud

wait for the echo to subside and say:

how would you wish life to be for you?

Repeat that wish
for ten days upon waking
for ten days at noon
for ten nights before closing your eyes.

Whatever you say
will appear in your life
before the next moon is full.

Wish well.

You can take the boy out of the rock'n'roll, but you can't take the rock'n'roll outta the boy!!

For our American cousins, it's the Queens Birthday Weekend also (Drom's Birthday Weekend not yet being a universal celebration). The fact that Betty Windsor was born on April 21st may seem confusing to some.
