Too much going on in the real world for me to spend much quality time with A2K...
About to start a new job, winding down the old one. Kids, lessons, trips, house, yard, yadda yadda.
What's your excuse?
Lately I don't have many excuses to stay away from A2K - oh well maybe there might be some things like the upcoming oral final exam at my highschool.
BTW, what's that yadda yadda thing you're spending time with?
Yadda yadda do? I work at home, and spend half my day on the computer doing boring detaily paperwork, so A2K will continue to be a welcome diversion for me. Seeing as I am self-employed and have no staff...well, there you go, who's gonna criticize?
Like cav, A2K is a diversion for me. If I am in the house, I will do a chore, and then sit on the computer for awhile..............Another chore, and some more time on A2K!
So what're you guys doin for a living?
I myself am just sitting in my room and studying all that crazy politics and history stuff - did you know BTW that the German politics-system is by far the most boring thing you could possibly imagine?
I am retired, and living off the fruits of my earlier hard work!
Woo sounds neat there Phoenix. So did you get your own little house in a pleasant and quiet environment?
I for myself - if you wanna read about it - am visualizing my retirement as living somewhere on the B.C. coast in Canada or having a little hut in New Zealand or stuff like that...I hope New Zealand still exists then and hasn't been swallowed by the raging sea :-o
I'm the only American on a production platform in the middle of the Persian Gulf. There's five or six Brits here. They're a great bunch of guys and I'd go crazy without them, but it's nice to have all the A2Ker's to "talk" with too.
I wish there was a life here apart from A2K. I've never been in prison, but I can't imagine it would be too terribly different from "life" here.
Chronic masturbation. But it's a double edged sword, because if I keep that up, I'll become blind, which in turn means no internet....then it'll mean no porn.
NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Been gardening, home schooling my son, crafts, cooking, etc...
Good Lord Slap, I never thought about it that way!
...must keep zipper closed...may not give in to great temptation...
Montana, it must be something like 9 am over there in NB, how'd you get all that work done by then? :-o
LOL! I do it gradually of course. You're right, it's a little after 9am here, but I've been working on and off in the garden since 6am.
Hey Seal, good luck on the new job!
(They hiring any software guys?)
Peek in at A2K whenever I get a moment at the desk. Major traffic on the home PCs as the kids get ready for finals.
Hamster - good luck to you also. Good Lord, I hated exams in high school!
Hi S-P! A2K is still one of my favorite places, but Dys and I have been busy buying a house in Albuquerque. We'll be gone for a few days for the inspection, shopping, etc. We are already getting things packed and seeing about the transfer of phone service, utilities--all those little details.
Dys likes the political threads which I tired of long ago. Although I look in now and again, the same old arguments make my eyes glaze over. Most of my time is spent in the word game threads or more chatty threads such as this.
Good luck on your job. How's the house coming along? Pics, if possible, would be great.
It's hard keeping my hands off of myself. I'm a stud.

Well, you may name it "working at home from the computer" - Mrs. Walter, however, calls it "chatting" (sic!!!) on A2K
BTW,
I DO think that the German politics system is one of the most interesting

if my 'hands' were involved Slappy, they would tend to migrate toward the 'throat'!
[and no, that wasn't an offer!]
just wandering off now to "have a life"
i'll report back about it.....................
