In another recent posting

http://able2know.org/topic/262024-1

I emphasize the possible effect of various blood fractions on one's mood whereas of course many other factors predominate our thinking, mosly of psychological concern. So here I offer my own tiny input for what it's worth, if not much

In short, Let the Universe happen. We plod through life under the assumption that we must respond, react, or resist. Yet a factor maddening or depressing to me or you might not have the slightest effect on a third party

Just recently I'm reminded of feelings in the radical Muslim community with Malala Yousafzai granted a Nobel Prize "Shot in the head by the Taliban two years ago for speaking out on education....the rights of children and young people [especially female]" (AP)

Thus where you or I wouldn't waste a second thought, the ISIS

...is so inflamed he murders this innocent girl. So we should examine our own
ardent feelings and beliefs with the hope of identifying those not contributing to our mental health or the rights of others

@dalehileman,
For those few of us residing in California's High Desert, Victorville Daily Press "Youngest Nobel winner speaks out" Dec. 11

You don't make sense.

This girl did not stand still and "Let the Universe Happen" - and she speaks out today about the atrocities. She has decided to focus her energies in making sure all children go to school, especially her village's girls.

Malala Yousafza isn't letting life pass her by.

Her fearlessness and directiveness make me embarrassed about my own life.

Of course not Punk, sorry you misunderstand. It's the ISIS member who might be so advised

@dalehileman,
When you compare your life to someone elses, you're not letting it happen.

I think I understand what you're saying dale, having been of that other thread you mentioned, and the one about pointlessness.

I'm all for it.

No doubt true Chai but when where and how have I done that, and what is it that doesn't happen

Encouraging Chai you've made my day

Forgive me Chai but which one; as I do that so often

Why, thank you again Chai but what's it

You have to make allowances for an 84-year-old with incipient Alz's
