Can Anyone Help Me With Identification Of This Ring?

We bought a car through an auction. We've had it several months and while cleaning it out we found a ring. It's very pretty. There is a halmark of some kind not on the band but up on the side which is very hard to read. I think it says 10kt. Not sure what type of gemstone this is or if it's real. My guess is no because of the size. Diamonds are probably not real. But just wondering if someone can help tell me the type of stone etc?

@Mizmelzy,
The Gold looks real and if you can see an imprint that suggests 10kt gold (though it looks like 14 to me, as it's darker gold) then probably that's the case. The "diamonds" could be zirconia and the gems look like amethyst and citrine.
