I may be biased but I thought Dunning was talking about Frank, the nescience specialist..

A blonde opens topics on a Forum, sees the words " you are not so smart" and says "I beg your pardon, do you know me?"

Then she checks out the link and sees words she has never seen before, quickly exits, thinks and says wait a minute, I'm smart, I got onto the thread, was able to open the link, see that I had never heard of a couple of words" Heck yeah I'm smart.
