Computers are not in the bible, yet you use them.
You also use many non sequiturs.
It is the reason so many realize you do not know what you are saying.

Referred to in some translations as the heart, the seat of emotions:

Quote:
Proverbs 4:23
23 Above all the things that you guard, safeguard your heart,
For out of it are the sources of life
Quote:
1 Peter 3:3, 4
3 Do not let your adornment be external—the braiding of hair and the wearing of gold ornaments or fine clothing— 4 but let it be the secret person of the heart in the incorruptible adornment of the quiet and mild spirit, which is of great value in the eyes of God.
Said to women, but applies to all.

@neologist,
No your inner man is your spirit and soul. That is who you are. You are in that body but you are the inner man. Your spirit is the mind of your inner man, and your soul is the body of your inner man. All decisions are made by your spirit. All affections come from your soul.
The heart is a different thing. The heart is the intent of a thought. And seeing as how you cant know the intent of your own thoughts God provided the Holy Spirit to teach you.
The heart
Heb 4:12-13
12 For the word of God is living and powerful, and sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing even to the division of soul and spirit, and of joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.
13 And there is no creature hidden from His sight, but all things are naked and open to the eyes of Him to whom we must give account.
(NKJ)
The Holy Spirit searches the thoughts and knows the intent.

Rom 8:27
27 Now He who searches the hearts knows what the mind of the spirit is, because He makes intercession for the saints according to the will of God.
(NKJ)

The Holy Spirit makes intercession with the verses.

Spirit: Hebrew "ruah"; Greek "pneuma"
Soul: Hebrew "nephesh"; Greek; "psyche"
Care to discuss what these words meant when they were written?

@neologist,
No because I wasn't back then. A prophesier told me one time that the definition of words change every hundred years. So any carnal words are not going to help you with the bible. It takes the Holy Spirit.

Matt 23:24
24 "Blind guides, who strain out a gnat and swallow a camel!

@Squeakybro,
Then you really must demonstrate that your congregation has God's approval.
There is one quality you must have. See John 13: 34,35
I am happy to say my congregation qualifies. Any place I may chose to visit in any part of the world, I am treated like family.
How's that working for you?

@neologist,
That means you follow the majority. And I follow the manority.

Matt 7:13-15
13 "Enter by the narrow gate; for wide is the gate and broad is the way that leads to destruction, and there are many who go in by it.
14 "Because narrow is the gate and difficult is the way which leads to life, and there are few who find it.
15 "Beware of false prophets, who come to you in sheep's clothing, but inwardly they are ravenous wolves.
(NKJ)

If you are truly born again you will offend many. Like I do.

James 3:1-2

1 My brethren, be not many masters, knowing that we shall receive the greater condemnation.
2 For in many things we offend all. If any man offend not in word, the same is a perfect man, and able also to bridle the whole body.
