Frogs are the coolest!
dlowan licks the backs of those aussie toads to get high, she loves them too!
Some frogs make really wonderful noises.
Frog legs are delicious.
Yup, frogs have got it goin' on.
frogs have a look of intelligence, you know, for amphibian type animals. ]
frog legs taste like chicken. Now that thought is outta the way and the thread can move on.
Do you know how to eat a frog.
Put one little leg over each ear.
(I'll be here all of the week)
I would argue that penguins are the 'coolest,' but frogs have to be up their in the top 10.
Yeah, frogs are cool and they have such great songs written about them:
A froggy went a-courting and he did ride,
A froggy went a-courting and he did ride,
A froggy went a-courting on a little white horse,
A sword and pistol by his side....
Sing it, colorbook! Get down!
Man, I'm jumping to the beat of the music.
I can imagine the 'Funksta' remix of '10 little bullfrogs' right now.
Would you do the vocals for it, Gus? or would you rather be a dancer?
I'm afraid that I'm turning into a penguin separatist, my friends. You may have plenty of Penguin songs, but do any of them outclass the following song by France in the Eurovision song contest of 1980? The female vocalists sounded as though they had dined preperatorially on cornflakes with heroin and fire extinguisher foam for the last 8 years; they wore oh so classy big dowdy sweatshirts. The male vocalist who just said Papa and then tried to save himself from collapsing, wore, of course, a Penguin suit.
Aren't you just marvelling too?
Yes - I prefer penguins!
Until last year, an inflatable penguin, about 5 ft high, occupied a corner of my living room. I often caught him napping on the lounge, sitthing at the head of the table, or peeping through the front windows. Sometimes he hid in the shower to scare visitors.
Naughty pingu!
Yay!
You see, you and I are women of higher sensibility; frogs are as common as muck: but a penguin? It speaks for itself.
Why did it go away? Was it burst?
Sprung a leak!
Now in the closet. But will he come out????
Some very funny stories exist around the penguin!
Margo owns an inflatable penquin? Surely the winters aren't that long.
I WANNA HEAR PENGUIN STORIES! oh, sorry, I was still in caps after the acronym thread..
Although I did see my very first treefrog this last year, in the ligustrum shrub outside our work back door. Tooooo cute!
Do tell, Margo! It sounds like an interesting thing to have just on the account of its scaring people who were using your bathroom!
I want to know where you got it...
