That was a Mac Davis (country singer) song, Kev. He wrote and recorded it. He also composed "In the Ghetto", (popularized by Elvis), "Baby Don't Get Hooked On Me" and many others.

I'm thinking Steve Miller, but just a guess. Funny, I was singing that the other day at work!

I expected this to be one of those "one offs" I had no idea that the songwriter had such a pedigree. Thanks for that raggedy.
