Do you like this as an engagement ring?

I don't know, it looks like a special expensive ring reserved for only someone that you really care about.

I'd prefer customized engagement rings though, like coming up with your own design that incorporates a unique aspect of an "inside" thing only the two of you share.

It's gaudy, lacks finesse, and should suit me quite nicely. What do you propose?

It's a little bit fussy for my taste, but there are no rules about what an engagement ring has to look like, or be made of.
