Anyone know of a company that offers a satalite internet connection in Colombia, South America?
Ya know, Pitter, there might be a problem there. Gilat, the parent of StarBand in the US, was makin' noises a couple years ago about South American coverage, but as far as I know, they're only up-and-running in Brasil. I checked around some, and came up blank for residential service elsewhere in South America. That may just mean I wasn't able to come up with anything, or it may mean there isn't anything to come up with.
Thanks Timber for looking. I know there is something because when I visited the island of Providencia which belongs to Colombia there was a little two computer internet cafe which recieved via a dish on the roof.
