Need info on Netsky

I get a ton of Netsky virus variations in my e-mail. I never open the attachments, and Norton always finds them and puts them in quarantine. However, when I do 'send/receive' while checking my e-mail, it seems I am sending messages that I have not written. The Norton virus scan reports no viruses. Is it possible that Netsky could be on my system anyway? If so, how would I find it and clean it?
