Quirky song lines

It can't be easy writing a lyric that says something that ain't been said before.

I need a place to store lyric snippets that made me think - 'that's odd'.

Tag! this is it - I'd prefer songs that aren't country (They have their own thread) and songs that aren't by intention trying to be weird (I'm looking at you Yankovic!) So by definition we are only talking single song lines or couplets at most - not entire songs.
