Okay so i'm a junior in high school and I'm kinda lost. Im taking pre cal right now and it is so hard for me. I have received only 6 B's in my academic career of 7th through 10th grade, all the rest are A's. I want to drop pre cal and either take intermediate algebra or TA for a math course instead. the reason being is I'm enrolled in Anatomy, AP Lang, and Honors US history(gives an extra grade point.) I just feel this course load is way to much for me. i have taken Biology,Chemistry, and now Anatomy. My math course that i have taken are geometry and algebra 2. I'm also involved in Link crew(leadership class ), Deca, and volunteered at Riverside Community Hospital. I plan to get certified from Red cross in certain courses as well as apply to volunteer at Corona regional Medical center next summer. My current rank from last year is 47 out 856 in high school. and next year my goal is to take AP Lit, AP econ/gov, AP stats, Link crew and psychology/sociology.(this is tentative to change) My goal is to attend Cal state Fullerton, but i am also looking at cal state san bernardino, and cal poly pomona. So the main thing is I don't want to be penalized for taking a TA or a math course a step down from Precal. Any medical professional input would be greatly appreciated.
@Alx007,
I like both those schools (not easy to get there), and that you could be looking at more local blogs.
@Alx007,
I'll also add that I question your flame for your discipline choice.
I was a very engaged pre med (looking back, I was obsessed) who later ended up much happier in design.
You may be right in your quest. Or off.
