I was given a Santa Claus ornament few months back and I have literally looked through thousands of different variations ! Please help me identify this red clad man! Is he flying or waving? Vintage? Antique? What is
He made of.? I need some help to end this, 6 month battle.

He's waving the Asian way; waving is saying "hello!" Yes, and that's St Nick. The red cheek is the giveaway.

That red nose is caused by the broken blood capillaries which are a symptom of chronic alcohol abuse.
