I have 37 Egyptian pounds - and a couple of thousand Italian lire.

You're welcome to them!

I'm a bit short of usable money - can you help?

I have more money in rubles, than in dollars, and I only have about ten dollars in rubles. (this is the gospel truth. I'm not exaggerating)

I'd like to help you out KC, but I used the last few dollars in my bank to buy a gallon of gas for my car.

No, it's actually true. I have a bunch of Irish money from my honeymoon, and wanted to cash it out, but the banks won't do it since the Euro came into fashion.

We had a lovely honeymoon in Ireland. We avoided the tourist traps, and spent most of our time in rural areas. I can't wait to go back.

I have loads of money (mainly profits from selling snow to the Eskimos), but keep it under my bed to prevent the CIA from finding out...
