TSA Theft?

Anyone ever have anything stolen from their checked luggage?

My wife had to fly to Kansas City today on business and when she was unpacking her luggage she discovered that the roll of quarters she had taken with her to do laundry with was missing. She did have the "Inspected by TSA" card in her suitcase.

How shitty is that?

@McGentrix,
Very. They should have these guys under quality audio and visual surveillance all the time.

I started to say something about "If you can't trust your own government. . . ." Then I decided that would have been repetitious and redundant.

@McGentrix,
It probably raised eyebrows on the xray scanners or metal detectors and was manually inspected and removed.

@Butrflynet,
Let's just say it caught their interest and was inspected.

It is amazing the hoops one must jump through to lodge a complaint against the TSA. In this modern age, including the govt paper waste act, complaints must be either faxed or mailed...
