I differ with you. Prepared by a skilled cooker it is delicious. I prefer to eat it with bread. You add cilantro, lemmon, sliced serrano peppers, and bread. It is commonly used as a remedy for a hangover.

I recommend you not to taste it from a restaurant. It will be better if you ask any Mexican friend you have, every mexican has at least an aunt or a grandmother that are quite skilled on its preparation. You can even eat it without los cueritos (the beef gut) and it is still delicious because the secret relies on the combination of species used in the broth.

By the way i prefer Brady bunch.

@luismtzzz,
If it's got cilantro in it, that just makes it worse--why not just pour some dish soap in the pot?

@Setanta,
Are you serious? Cilantro is the secret for any good mexican salsa.

Well i think i remmember reading a few years ago that there seems to be a genetic trait on mediterranian descent people that canĀ“t stand the cilantro trait. Maybe it can be your case.

....and sheeps eyes. Don't forget the sheeps eyes from very small sheep.

Ohhhhh, they try to tell you it's hominy, but I'm not fooled.

My favorite character on the Brady Bunch was the pork chops and apple sauce, closely followed by the ball that was being played with in the house.

I can remember thinking that sounded like the worst dinner in the world. Still does.

@Linkat,
My least favorite character was Tiger.

He was useless.

@chai2,
except the one show where Jan (isn't always Jan the problem child) - was allergic to Tiger then determined it was only the flea powder -- besides that Tiger really never came into play.

I actually couldn't stand Oliver he was annoying - a last ditch effort to get some young kid on the show when bobby and cindy were getting older.

@Linkat,
Oh and there was a cat -- that was probably the most useless one -- I only remember the cat once the girls had the cat and the boys had tiger and it was a problem with tiger chasing the cat.

Besides that the cat really didn't show up on any of the other shows.

I know/remember way too much from this show.

And Greg Brady was on wife swap last night. I was flipping channels and saw this -- I watched about 5 minutes of it and couldn't subject myself to watch any more of it.

@chai2,
This might explain your revulsion to Tiger:

Tiger is the Brady Family's dog, who appeared in many of the early episodes. The original dog used was run over by an automobile and died of his injuries before the fourth episode, but a replacement look-alike was found. This version stayed on until partway through the second season, when he was quietly written out of the series. Tiger appeared in a total of ten episodes.

Fluffy is the cat owned by Carol and the Martin girls. Fluffy only appeared in "The Honeymoon" episode from season one, and was never seen again.

@Linkat,
Fluffy the Cat cancelled her contract because of an incident off camera.

@chai2,
Ah I didn't even realize they had Martin girls -- that is the girls last name -- their dad's.

Do you know that they never spelled out what happened to the girls'father? They did mention that Mr. Brady's first wife died, but never what happened to the girls'father --- supposedly she was supposed to be divorced, but because of the whole divorce thingy not being great at the time --- they simply did not mention it.

@Linkat,
They didn't change their names to Brady?

I'm so confused.

@chai2,
No they did -- that was just their dad's last name and the one and only episode that had fluffy was the wedding/honeymoon one so they were Martin at the time I guess.
