A can manufacturer uses 1% tin and 99% steel in the production of cans. 200 lbs. of tin and 40,000 lbs. of steel are in stock. A quantity of used cans which yield 2% tin and 98% steel can be purchased. Calculate quantity (in lbs.) of used cans purchased so the total stock is 1% tin.

What is known:

Cans are made with 1% tin and 99% steel.
200 lbs. of tin and 40,000 lbs. of steel are in stock.
Used cans which yield 2% tin and 98% steel are available for purchase.

Want to know:

Quantity (in lbs.) of used cans purchased to make the total stock 1%.

I am guessing this is a mixture problem but not sure.

Unsure how to solve.
