Form an equation describing how the elements of the question are related.

Distance travelled (d)= Speed of travel (s) multiplied by the time taken (t)

2400miles = Speed multiplied by 8 days, so Speed (s) = 2400miles / 8 days = 300 miles per day

d = s multiplied by t

150 miles = 300 miles per day multiplied by the time in days (t)

t= 150/300 days

t= 1/2 day OR SIMPLY

d = s * t

150miles = (2400miles / 8 days) * t

t = 1/2 day
