okay so in 2011 my girlfriend played this song sung by a girl about her dying in a car wreck and how her boyfriend coped with it by i believe killing the one responsible for his girlfriends death. it ends with the boyfriend in jail for killing whoever killed his girlfriend in the car wreck. the girl had a really... hmm soft, sweet sounding voice and the song was slow and calm.. and very sad who sings this song and wants the name of it I've looked all over the internet please help me.

Any idea at all as to any of the lyrics? Any idea of the era the song is from? What sort of instruments were played (piano, guitar, etc.?)?

i think the song was relatively new at the time although it wasn't on the radio. the singers voice was over the music so it may have been acoustic guitar. i can't remember any of the lyrics just the plot of the story.
