The Postal Service

A friend just introduced me to this band, and they have gotten me hook, line, and sinker.

It's been quite a while since any music grabbed me and wouldn't let go like this. Seriously, for the last week, all I can listen to is The Postal Service, and when I'm not listening to 'em, I'm thinking about listening to 'em.

If yer interested, you should probably try "The District Sleeps Tonight" and "Nothing Better." Both songs are just lyrically brilliant (IMHO), and though musically somewhat sparse (drum machines and synthesizers as far as I can tell), extremely effective (especially in "The District Sleeps Tonight").
