Is there anything like staphylobacillus?

You seem to saying is there form of staph bacteria that are bacilli (rods)? No. They are cocci (spheres).

Look up Staphylococcus.

a cluster of rod-shaped bacterial cells would be called a staphylobacillus.

But yeah, you are right for the most part. It's a description of the bacterial shape.

What i mean is that can the rod shaped baccillus form clusters(staphy)?
