I need to summarize the performance of the following fund as a memo. These percentages reflect a net annualized return of a fictional fund over an 8-month period.

I have this in an excel file and I've created a bar chart that I can't attach here.

The questions are :

1. Do I need to calculate anything else in order to explain the performance (ratios, etc.)?

2. How to word the performance of this fund in memo in a few sentences.

month current month return trailing 12-month average
Jan 7.7% 8.1%
Feb 7.2% 7.4%
Mar 8.1% 7.5%
Apr 7.7% 8.1%
May 7.42% 7.1%
June 8.3% 7.9%
Jul 7.2% 7.4%
Aug 8.1% 8.5%

@JimF,
The numbers does not make any sense.
Rather than percentages, show dollar increases for month and YTD averages.
