Maybe someone else can help me with another song question
I've had this saxophone solo stuck in my head for a good month or so. I can only remember the sax part (I really hope it is a sax part, lol). I know that lyrics come before the sax part (wow this is vague), and that it is a male voice singing. I woke up yesterday and had the song title, but then I fell back asleep and have forgotten it again. That erked me, so here I am looking for some help. The sax solo has mostly straight notes, but there are a few scoops toward the end of each riff. I think the song was fairly popular anywhere from 15-25 years ago. I've heard it here in San Francisco on "The Bone 107.7" (damn them for getting it stuck in my head).... and if I recall correctly, I don't like any other part of the song, just the solo in the middle/end. If someone thinks they can figure out what the song is by hearing me mimic the sax part, let me know and I'll find a way of recording it and posting it somewhere, or if you're comfortable with it, I'll use some cell phone minutes to call you and give you a good laugh over what my friends have been snickering about whenever I asked someone if they recognize the solo. Other than that.... I got nothing...... any help would be appreciated.....
