What are your Plans, Dreams or Hopes for 2003?

Peace on Earth, and Goodwill Toward All! Other than that, Good Health, Good Family and Friends, and enough $$$$ to continue my world travels. c.i.

I hope that the global economic growth will renew, and hi-tech industries will get out of crisis they experience currently. I hope that Saddam will be replaced with someone more predictable and pro-American. I also hope that the glorious American Army will prevent Saddam from using his non-conventional weapons in course of this war. I hope that the Palestinian leadership will be changed, and the new one will put end to terror and resume negotiations with Israel. I hope that bin Laden will be either arrested or killed together with all his lieutenants, and Al Qaeda will cease its existence. I also hope to get an immigration permission to Australia and to move there.

I'm selfish this year. I hope for paint on my walls inside and out, the washer and dryer to be installed, an upstairs shower and sink, electricity throughout the house, healthy vegetables from my garden, the lantana seeds I harvested and scattered to sprout and bloom in the spring, a closet, boxes to be unpacked, things to be put away and organized, and no repeat of last year's scorpion invasion.

I want time to enjoy my library, a new face (thank you, microdermabrasion!), and, oh yeah, a baby grand.

(And poor Mr. dupre thought I'd be satisfied with a new roof so I'd no longer have to squeegy water off the floors when it rains and an electric fence so I'd no longer have to toss cow droppings out of my yard.)

Eh, my hope is what I hoped for last year. Doesn't look like it'll be happening any time soon. So, in the meantime, I hope for a lotta Amazon stuff.
