Well, these are the tributaries of Aldan River, Siberia.

They are enclosed between the Tatta River and the Aldan river and belong to the drainage basin of the latter:

I'm pretty certain that it's a close up of the surface of my Mature Cheddar that I've just rediscovered. It had been hiding in the back of my fridge since Hogmanay.
