A person rides a bicycle from Town A to Town B.
Distance- 300 miles.
Total Time- 4 days, 1 hour 50 minutes.
Unknown- time used for sleep, naps, meals, breaks, mechanical problems, flat tires, etc. in between traveling.
Using given information, can the average speed be determined?
@Randy Dandy,
you have to give info about rests - how many hours (total) of rest/ stop, then it will be easily given
The average speed end-to-end can be calculated by distance/time in the normal way.
