A person rides a bicycle from Town A to Town B.

Distance- 300 miles.

Total Time- 4 days, 1 hour 50 minutes.

Unknown- time used for sleep, naps, meals, breaks, mechanical problems, flat tires, etc. in between traveling.

Using given information, can the average speed be determined?

you have to give info about rests - how many hours (total) of rest/ stop, then it will be easily given Smile

The average speed end-to-end can be calculated by distance/time in the normal way.
