@McGentrix,
These would be the phenotypes had Gene Simmons impregnated Yoko Ono

Kinda sounds a little like that Mike Post orchestral theme from uhhhhh, you know, the cop show with the theme that sounds like subway trains

@McGentrix,
Girl groups in Asia like to give goofy performances. Japan has Baby Metal, South Korea has Crayon Pop.

@wandeljw,
I wonder if all Asian girls are born with the ability to be cute and choreographed...

I have heard that some of the choreography is an imitation of military drill teams. Smile

@panzade,
Yes, but sometimes the precision dance routines of Asian girl groups can be rather charming. Smile

Babymetal had the #2 album on iTunes and #1 metal spot... I hope I don't have to get all hipster and claim "I liked 'em before they were popular"...

So, playing at Heavy Montreal, but that place is crawling with Francophiles...

They have a solo concert in lalaland, buit too far away and are now an opening act for a half-dozen Lady GaGa concerts. I am hoping they make some East Coast visits. I've planted a seed at a local venue where I recently watched Foreigner and Styx play. Would be a perfect sized location. Their solo concert sold out in an hour.

Just some news to share...

Some of their videos with English Subtitles. Give them a fair listen and you'll be hooked.

Since the beginning of this, I have now seen BABYMETAL in Montreal at Heavy Montreal, New York City at the Hammerstein Ballroom and in Toronto. What a wonderfully talented group they are.
