Pick two from each category: Your favorite option that was nominated and the one you expect to win. If the one you expect to win is your favorite then pick it twice. You'll get the points if either one of your category choices correct. You'll get double the points if your favorite option is the one you expect to win in the first place.

Categories in blue are 1 point for correct answers. 2 points for guessing the correct winner in the orange categories. 5 points for picking the best picture category.

@tsarstepan,
I'll play even though the only film I saw last year was Hobbit 2: Electric Boogaloo.

Best Motion Picture of the Year.
Lots of films here that get a lot of good buzz. Started off with 5 (American Hustle, Dallas Buyers Club, Gravity, 12 Years a Slave and The Wolf of Wall Street), and then had to cut ruthlessly.

I'll be the perfect foil since I've seen no films for a few years now (about to change).

I'll just use my film wand, the platinum one. The words want and expect are exaggerated in my case, sometimes interchangeable.

I'm wondering if "he" will ever come back not that he realizes he hasn't won anything of substantial value from winning this improvised contest.

For shear guessing, you did pretty darn well Osso. Smile

@tsarstepan,
Not quite sheer guessing, since for the tech type categories I had to look the nominees up, not just use memories of stuff I'd read in passing. So now I didn't win on animation but I've two or three animated films I want to see: a lose - really win situation.
