Count the bricks in the pile. (9*9*4 bricks)
How many inches is 4 ft (hint 12 inches in a foot) so 1 foot of walk would have an area of 4*12*12 in^2
Divide this by 32 in^2 a brick
so 1 foot of walk takes 4*12*12 (in^2)/32 (in^2) bricks
So the number of feet of walk you can lay is the number of bricks you have divided by the number of bricks required per foot.
