Life without parole, instead of death, is logical, because it is a sentence one can break, whereas, if you kill the innocent by accident, you are left with an innocent corpse and a grieving family.

Its a death sentence either way. One is just quicker.
But, the distinction I made is so -so - humanitarian, as compared to snuffing them out.

In regard to saving the life of a possible innocent, yes.
And life without parole is such nice to innocently convicted how? How is life without parole such nice to the convicted.

Neither sentence is intended to be nice, for the convicted. But why don't you see how being able to reverse a wrong conviction is so important?
